Two Allegheny County plumbing inspectors charged with record tampering – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Two county sanitation inspectors have been taken into custody and are charged with tampering with records.

Michael O’Toole and Timothy Chelosky were arrested on Thursday.

In late June, the Allegheny County Health Department was made aware of the possible falsification of plumbing inspections. After being alerted, they asked the county police for assistance and an investigation was opened.

The investigation found that O’Toole and Chelosky had forged plumbing records.

O’Toole faces 11 crimes involving tampering with public records or information, and Chelosky faces four of the same charges.

Both are currently held in Allegheny County Jail pending indictment.
