The home improvement company in Central Pennsylvania is expanding into the number 11 state following its latest acquisition

A home improvement company based in Lower Allen Township is expanding to Maryland as a result of a recent acquisition.

West Shore Home completed the acquisition of Maryland-based remodeling company Herl’s Bath and Home Solutions Inc. on Monday. The terms of the contract were not disclosed.

West Shore Home will provide bathroom and shower remodeling solutions for the Baltimore and Salisbury areas of Maryland in two offices at 8790 Route 108, Suite G, Columbia and 31440 Winterplace Parkway in Salisbury.

75 new employees have joined West Shore Home from Herl’s Bath and Home Solutions. West Shore Home currently has around 1,450 employees.

Earlier this month, West Shore Home officially announced a company-wide minimum wage of $ 15.

“Several years ago we decided to drastically increase our company’s starting and minimum wages,” said BJ Werzyn, founder and CEO of West Shore Home, in a press release earlier this month. “Our main purpose is to bring happiness to every home. We believe it starts in our own team. “

This acquisition of Herls Bath and Home Solutions marks the sixth acquisition by West Shore Home in the past 28 months, which has expanded operations to more than 20 offices in 11 states.

In January, West Shore Home acquired Alabama-based bathroom builder C&C Enterprises, which acted as New Bath Alabama. This transaction expanded West Shore Home into Alabama. In July, West Shore Home expanded into Virginia when it acquired Advantage Home Products Inc., a bathroom remodeling company. In November 2019, West Shore Home acquired Florida-based Fairbanks Construction, a window and bathroom company. West Shore Home acquired Kentucky-based America’s Window LLC, a window, bathroom, and siding company, in the summer of 2019. In November 2018, the company expanded to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia when it acquired Bryton’s Home Improvement, Shower, and Bath remodeling company based in North Carolina.

The company was founded in 2006.
