Dr. Claudia Riegel can look back on a long and respected career in professional pest control. A Purdue University graduate who completed her Ph.D. Riegel, from the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida, is director of the Mosquito, Termite, and Rodent Control Committee for the City of New Orleans. In this role, she provides technical support to the city of New Orleans and the pest control industry, conducts independent research, works closely with industry, and collaborates on research projects with government organizations and universities.

Dr. Nicky Gallagher joined Syngenta in 2012 and is the technical service manager for professional pest management in the Midwest and Northeast. She has a strong background in urban entomology with 19 years of experience. Her previous positions included research fellow in the Department of Entomology at Ohio State University and as a development and engineering representative for DuPont Professional Pest. Dr. Gallagher continues to be responsible for all phases of field testing and technical support in her region, and coordinates numerous research programs with university researchers and collaborative partners. She holds a BS from the College of Mount Saint Joseph, Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as an MS and Ph.D. from Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio).
