The family activity comes after fans of the MTV show classified their house as “ugly”.

Cole went on Instagram Wednesday to share a clip and photos of two of the couple’s children – Watson, four, and Layne, two – helping paint the walls in the house.

The two little ones helped their parents by painting a window sill in the house white.

The proud father has given the article a title: “These two are certainly a handful! But they are always happy to help. Also some damn good painters 🙌🏼.”

Cole’s caption ended with the hashtags #helpingdad, #dirty, #missedaspot, #loveit, and #doinitwithcole.

Chelsea, 29, is also the mother of 11-year-old daughter Aubree with ex-Adam Lind, while she and Cole welcomed newborn daughter Walker June in January.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, kept fans up to date on their home renovation process.

Teen Mom 2 fans had a lot to say about the house as some reviewers had previously criticized the TV personality for failing to “child proof” the new stairs of her South Dakota home.

After the backlash, Cole showed a new banister in their house.

In an Instagram story clip, Cole described the “black onyx rod and railing system”.

He said, “It was exactly what we missed for the front entrance of this house. It brought it all together.”

Cole added that Chelsea tuned in in the background that the railing is the “clean, modern look we missed”.

Back in October, teen mom fans pounded their farmhouse as “ugly” as Chelsea posted on the house’s Instagram to let their followers know how far the house was built.

While looking at the sky of the house that was being built when the roof appeared to be all black, she wrote, “When was the last time I showed the outside? My dad went out and got some really great drone footage the other day, and so did I. had to share it.

“I just love it. Crazy to think how close we are !!”

Fans soon went to Reddit to make it clear that they weren’t fans of the exterior of the house.

One person wrote, “Sooooooo ugly, oh my god,” while another said, “Ugly. With her budget, she could have chosen something beautiful. That’s terrible, as is the view of the cornfield.”

They weren’t finished there when a fan said, “This house is way too black. Yuck.”
