Saint-Gobain leaves UK plumbing market

Wolseley UK is expected to complete the acquisition of Neville Lumb, DHS and Bassetts from Saint-Gobain in early 2022.

Saint-Gobain has also entered into exclusive negotiations with Wolseley UK to sell Ideal Bathrooms, its remaining UK retail brand specializing in plumbing, heating and plumbing products.

Together, these four brands employ 485 people and have 25 branches with sales of approximately £ 110 million in 2020.

In August, Saint Gobain sold the Graham plumber chain. Upon completion of these transactions, the company will no longer have retail brands for plumbing, heating and plumbing products in the UK.
