Former Coronantion Street star Ryan Thomas surprised everyone (including his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh) when he was secretly buying a house in Cheshire. Renovation work has since started on the property in northern England, and on the previous Thursday KNOW Star Lucy uploaded a video of Ryan crashing dramatically through a wall in the house.

The mother of one child filmed the actor throwing his whole body against the wall to knock him down. The clip was accompanied by the sound of high school musicals Breaking Free, and by the end of the video Ryan was smiling, obviously not hurt by the unconventional technique.
Later that day, Lucy uploaded a note from her electricians indicating that in addition to the wall, Ryan had also destroyed the brand new plug socket they had recently installed.

They have big plans to transform the once tired looking Edwardian home into a beautiful family home that will become their Cheshire base with Baby Roman. Ryan’s daughter Scarlett, who comes from a previous relationship, lives in Manchester, which makes family time a lot easier. Ryan previously talked about how distance has put pressure in the past.

At first the two wanted to move in and decorate quickly, but instead they decided to properly work the house before settling down. Lucy has expressed her desire to overhaul the basement with a wine cellar, gym, and utility room and cinema room, and she wants an orangery one day while they are also planning a loft remodel at some point.
The couple enlisted the help of an interior designer
