Roofing company banned in North Dakota

BISMARCK, ND (AP) – State officials say a roofer was banned from doing business in North Dakota.

Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem said he had issued an injunction against McKenna’s roof and its owner Joshua McKenna.

McKenna lists addresses in Brampton, North Dakota and Long Prairie, Minnesota.

A state investigation opened in August found that McKenna had made an upfront payment of over $ 5,000 for a roofing job and the homeowner tried unsuccessfully to get McKenna to do the job or issue a refund over the next year.

Officials say McKenna’s contractor’s license had expired when he took the money.
