Robin Autopilot continues its growth in lawn care with the acquisition of Mowbot and the expanded partnership with Husqvarna

DALLAS, April 15, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Robin Autopilot United StatesRobin Autopilot, a leader in robotic mowing technology, announced today that it has acquired Mowbot, a robot lawn care franchise with 16 locations in the United States. As part of the acquisition, Robin Autopilot will enter into a newly expanded partnership with the Husqvarna Group, a major investor in Mowbot and Robin’s current equity partner.

After the transaction, Mowbot will be known as “Mowbot Powered by Robin” and will move its headquarters from Durham, North Carolina to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, where Robin plans to expand his US headquarters. The business is run by Robin Holdings under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer Logan Fahey.

Mowbot operators have unlimited access to all of Robin’s major offerings, including:

  • A proprietary software package with tools for fleet management, surveying and customer acquisition.
  • Patented products like Robin’s robotic door system for navigating around fences and tight spaces.
  • Robin Academy, training and e-learning services.

The acquisition continues Robin’s rapid expansion and strengthens its leadership position in Robotics as a Service (RaaS) for the US lawn care industry. in the December 2020Robin entered into a similar arrangement with Weed Man United States Introducing the benefits of robotic mowing to a growing portion of the North American lawn maintenance and landscaping market.
