Raynor Garage Doors is helping restore Dixon City Hall with a donation

DIXON (WREX) – Local company Raynor Garage Doors helped the City of Dixon restore a historic property with a massive donation.

Raynor donated three large garage doors to the city to restore the historic building that now houses Dixon City Hall.

“It’s really cool, it’s so important for a community to capture our history as we update and renovate it,” said Mayor Li Arellano.

The building, built in 1908, was once the town’s fire station and has been a staple of the community ever since.

The original three doors of the former Dixon Fire Department that is now City Hall.

Raynor’s Eden Coast overlay on the doors enabled the team to accurately recreate the look of the original doors from the early 20th century.

“”[We] couldn’t be happier with the way [the doors] It turned out what they look like, “said Ray Neisewander, Chairman and CEO of Raynor Garage Doors, III.” I think everyone in Dixon can be proud this is a great old building. “

Raynor Garage Doors donated an overlay model that was used to restore the building to its original appearance.
