The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors (MCBS) is currently installing new rooftop heating, ventilation and air conditioning units at the Middlesex Elementary School (MES) in Locust Hill.
The MCBS unanimously voted on March 2 to authorize the Middlesex County School Board (MCSB) to continue the HVAC project at MES with Honeywell Industries for $ 1,695,023 to complete the project this year (2021).
At the MCBS meeting in November 2020, Superintendent Peter Gretz announced to the board that two years ago five of the six HVAC units at MES had reached end-of-life cycles.
The replacement of the HVAC units has been approved in capital improvement plans …
