Akel Homes, based in Delray Beach, Florida, has opened its model homes and sold new villas in Villamar, Toscana Isles, a residential complex of 208 single-family homes in Lake Worth, Florida.
The community will offer a total of 12 one- and two-story floor plans starting at $ 400,000. Homes are between 1,809 and 2,980 square feet and have two to six bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, and garages for two or three cars. Outdoor options include contemporary Spanish and transition. A modern premium view will be available soon. A design studio is available on the community website that can be used to redesign your home.
Villamar homes are designed to exceed the requirements of the Florida Building Code with a special focus on hurricane resistance. For this purpose, instead of the wooden frame construction, the houses on both the first and second floors are built from a complete block of concrete, without compromising on the interior or exterior aesthetics. Additional resilient features are impact-resistant windows and gypsum concrete substrates.
“Building better starts with better design. Many of our competitors focus on design at the expense of build quality. At Akel Homes, form and function are in perfect balance, ”says Alexander Akel, Co-President of Akel Homes. “We are also ahead of the curve when it comes to environmentally friendly building and smart home functions.”
Each of the houses will come standard with energy efficient features including instant water heaters, 16 SEER AC units, low emissivity windows and LED light bulbs. The smart home tech package, which is also standard, equips every house with an intelligent keypad for the front entrance, a video doorbell, a thermostat, a garage door opener, a light switch and a home control center.
The community is in what Akel calls Goldilocks in Palm Beach County, near beaches and the highway in both directions. “Villamar is just three minutes west of I-95,” says Akel. “Everyone who lives here can feel like they are in a resort-style community with quick access to entertainment, dining, and shopping destinations like West Palm Beach and Downtown Delray.”
Amenities include a 3600 square foot clubhouse with a catering kitchen, large room, and fitness center. a resort style pool and lots; and a tennis court and a half basketball court.
