Colr. Cooper said, “I have been lobbying the Housing Executive for a while to run a window replacement program for their properties in the Ballymagroarty area. I was delighted that this had resulted in a confirmation from the Housing Executive that a window replacement program would begin in May 2020 with 425 apartments.
“This work was later delayed by the coronavirus, but I have continued to campaign for the program to continue and I am pleased to now confirm that the surveying of the rental properties will start in November with the full program in late November to be reached in spring 2021. I will share more details with residents as soon as I receive updates from the Housing Executive. If anyone has any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
