With the introduction of wooden fences from LP Elements Performance, LP Building Solutions took its first step into the fence market and its third product launch in 2019.
The LP Elements fence comes in 6 by 6 foot pickets with a dog-eared design that has been manufactured and tested to withstand hail, gusts, winds up to and over 200 mph, exposure D, and humid temperatures. The wood does not bend, warp, or twist, according to the manufacturer, and a proprietary zinc borate-based process provides additional resistance to termites. It is available in cedar and redwood varieties and doesn’t need to be re-colored over time.
“The first delivery of LP Elements fencing marks a significant milestone in the fencing industry,” said Ashwin Himat, Head of LP Product Technology. “It’s the first and only wooden fence product on the market, and now it’s on the market. As a long-time leader in solution development, our goal is to make LP Elements a groundbreaking new product for installers and homeowners. “
The manufacturer has just shipped its first order for LP Elements Performance Fencing to Jamieson Fence Supply, a Dallas, Texas-based fence wholesaler.
“Like LP, Jamieson Fence Supply is solution-oriented,” said Justin McMichael, Area Vice President Sales at Jamieson Fence Supply. “We appreciate the progress that LP is making for our industry with LP Elements Performance Fencing. We pride ourselves on being the first to bring it to market and ultimately helping make LP Elements work for the end customer. “Lpcorp.com
