SOUTH HAVEN – Two employees at landscaping company Lawn Boys escaped injury on Monday morning after the truck they were driving in caught fire. The incident occurred at 11 a.m. on Indiana Avenue near Lyons Street in the city of South Haven.
Kenneth Antisdel said he and his work partner had just finished one job and were on their way to another when the car horn suddenly went off. Then Antisdel smelled and saw smoke rising from under the front of the truck. He said he didn’t go one block until the problem arose. Concerned, he stopped the vehicle and he and his partner quickly got out to investigate the problem.
