Ladgroup Limited was incorporated in 1971 and is involved in trading activities, particularly in food and agro-based commodity products. The company started business by exporting agricultural produce, namely ginger, sheanuts, coffee and gum Arabic, and became the largest exporter of sheanuts to Europe and the Far East Ladgroup later diversified into the export of cocoa and cashew nuts. Ladgroup has been highly successful in exports and has won two major awards from the Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM) namely “Best Exporter of the Year” and “Best Cocoa Exporter”.
Today, Ladgroup remains a leader in the exports of raw sheanuts from Nigeria. Ladgroup’s Head Office at Isolo consists of a 4 storey building and adjoining warehouses with 70,000 sq ft of storage space. Also in the complex is a 3-bay cold store with capacity of 4,700mt of Frozen Fish. Ladgroup’s cold store remains one of the best in the country. Between 1981 and 1990, Ladgroup was one of the largest importers of Frozen Fish. Ladgroup is pioneering the processing of raw sheanuts into shea butter and other products in Nigeria. To achieve this, Ladgroup has invested in an Oil Seed Processing Factory, which is currently under construction at Ikenne, Ogun State with an intake capacity of 39,000 Mt per annum. The facility consists of an Oil Mill, Solvent Extraction Plant and a Pelleting Plant and is designed to crush other Oil Seeds like Palm Kernel, Groundnut and Soya Beans in the off season of Sheanut. With this investment, Ladgroup will achieve the dual objective of adding significant value to the raw material and opening up wide market opportunities in the semi-finished and finished products market both locally and internationally. It will also support the huge Sheanut economy in the producing areas that relies on a steady market for their production.

Carry out regular servicing of air condition unit, repair and ensure routine maintenance check of all cooling equipment within the building facilities.
Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning systems, including FCU fan coil unit drain line, cooling systems and related equipment.
Frequent cleaning of FCU filters, routine assessment of chilled water supply systems and replacing AHU air handling unit filter as at when due.
Identify all faulty cooling equipment, perform repair on the systems and observe preventive maintenance for all HVAC systems.
Identify maintenance risks on equipment and coordinate efforts with the HVAC maintenance vendors to ensure all systems are functioning perfectly.
Monitoring chilled water line level and ensure an optimal performance of all AHU & chillers.
Respond to AC faults & related work repair other maintenance tasks.
Provide an assist to other maintenance personnel and ensure proper daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Monitor all air conditioning units and schedule maintenance for all heating and cooling units & keep records of all malfunctions mechanical equipment.
requirements
Minimum of NCE, OND / Technical Vocational Certification
5-7 years working experience as a Generator Technician.
Skills / Competencies:
Identifying the right tools and procedures for HVAC maintenance.
Good intuitive & detail to attention.
Conversant with modern & various types of cooling tower.
Ability to work under pressure & provide assistance to other department.
Communication and team work.
