Rylan Clark is beloved by the nation for his irreverent humor and quick wit. He rose to fame as a contestant on the ninth series of the X Factor and has charmed the country ever since.
The TV star has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity MasterChef and is a co-presenter on ITV’s This Morning. And throughout the years, he’s given us plenty of glimpses into his luxurious house.
Rylan frequently shares snaps of his home life on his Instagram and Twitter accounts and his house has featured in the background several times. According to Hello Magazine, the house used to be a bungalow when Rylan and his now ex-husband bought in in 2021.
Since then, it’s been converted into a five-bedroom house that Rylan described on Through the Keyhole as an “Essex palais”. From a swimming pool to a £5,000 kitchen island, this house has it all.

The exterior and entrance hall
The outside of Rylan’s converted bungalow is effortlessly stylish. The house is surrounded by woodlands and a low stone wall complete with atmospheric lighting. He shared a photo of his front door over Christmas while showing off his decorations. The porch area has black pillars and a black entrance door with glass walls to either side.
For his 33rd birthday, Rylan shares snaps of himself standing in his entrance hall, which was decorated with black, gold and white balloons intricately wrapped up his stairs. The large hall is entirely white bar a black frame on the wall and some black side tables.
The living room
Rylan’s living room is even more stylish than his hallway. He’s got a wall-mounted TV with an electric fireplace in the wall below. The decor is almost all gray except for the silves animals keeping guard from the floor. The star also has a velvet sofa with white and gray pillows, which fans will recognize from his time on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Rylan has an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen cabinets are all dark gray concrete and run along three walls. The white countertops match the island, which is the Milano Contour from Wren Kitchens, currently priced at £4,860. Rylan has an integrated high-tech smart fridge and a wine fridge on either side of it. There’s ovens on either side of those and the space is illuminated by three pendant lamps.

Rylan’s dressing room is decked out in House of Sparkles furniture. There’s a black chair, black drawers and a mirror in a sparkly frame hung on silver wallpaper. In the center of the room there’s also a couch and a glittery coffee table in the same shape as his kitchen island.
The garden and pool
Rylan’s house has a set of large doors that lead to a huge garden and a pool. The latter has featured on his social media several times, most recently as he spent time with his friend Kimberley and her daughter.
The utility room
Rylan has previously shared an Instagram post of him doing chores captioned: “Saturday nights used to be a little dance and a drink. Now it’s washing and tidying. Tbh I’m here for it. Thankfully got the beast,” in reference to his two-story washing machine.
The Big Brother chair
When Rylan won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, it seems they let him keep the chair from the Diary Room. He’s appeared on This Morning from the very chair and during lockdown he revealed he’s attempted to ‘upcycle’ it, complete with golden cushions and black accents.
