According to Julianna Christensen, all you need is a set of stove burner covers.

They’re simply placed directly on top of the burners to add more working space and fit over most standard stovetops.

Christensen also noted in the clip: “It’s a must-have.”

Aside from the additional space, the Amazon item also doubles as a cutting and serving board.

And since the gadget is made out of tempered glass, it can withstand the heat of any piping hot pot.

As far as cleaning goes, it can simply be wiped down with a dish sponge or a disinfecting wipe.

The Amazon item currently priced at $35 dollars seemed to be a huge hit after Christensen demonstrated the several functions it had.

In fact, fellow social media users couldn’t wait to add the accessory to their kitchen but some seemed to run into a few issues.

One person wrote: “I swear you put me on to things I never knew existed.”

A second asked: “I want the stove covers so bad but I can’t find them.”

“I need the burner covers,” continued a third.

Now if you tend to be one of those nervous people that run out and can’t remember whether you left the stove on or not, there’s one thing you should be doing.

A life blogger suggested grabbing your phone and simply snapping a picture of your stove, especially if you’re going on vacation.

This way you can put your mind at ease and have proof that you definitely turned off the stove.

The expert added: “I can think about how fun the vacation’s going to be, instead of mentally tracing my steps.”
