Crystal River offers its utility customers the option to apply for a discount when they switch to water-efficient toilets and lawn sprinklers.
These discounts of up to $ 100, offered based on availability, are applied to utility bills.

According to the city, discounts apply to homes and businesses built in or before 1995 who have replaced high flow toilets with 1.28 gallon WaterSense plumbing and / or installed irrigation systems with rain sensors.

Other rules apply to eligibility, e.g. B. the provision of receipts for new purchases to the city and the checking of the products by the city staff for qualification.
Channel-only customers cannot qualify for a discount.
