Clearwater Pool and Spa is a local full-service pools and spa retailer owned by Mike and Becky Mueller. The Müllers have been in the pool business since 1992. They started this journey by first cleaning their filters at home, repairing pumps, and delivering chemicals to customers. After retiring, the Müllers opened the Clearwater Pool and Spa in June 1999, where they became a one-stop shop for all pool and spa needs.
Becky Mueller points out that her business has grown dramatically in recent years. She emphasized, “We have become South Texas’ leading retailer for above-ground pools.” In addition to installing pools in Atascosa County, they have traveled to Oakville, Dilley, La Vernia, Freer, Tilden, and San Antonio to install above-ground pools for various customers. Clearwater Pool and Spa will travel all over South Texas. Mueller explained, “If they are in the above ground pool market, we will go to them. You can swim in a few days. “

Clearwater Pool and Spa consists not only of Mike and Becky Mueller, but also of a team of highly qualified pool professionals. They support all FFA and 4H programs, the Longhorn Museum in Pleasanton, and the Atascosa County’s Sheriff’s Department BBQ Cookoff. The Millers are also members of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and the local chapter of the American Legion, which raise funds to support veterans and community grants.
Clearwater Pool and Spa has been an asset to our community since it opened in June 1999. If you take a closer look at the photo from the Pleasanton Express archives, there are some familiar faces of other people and business owners in the area community. In fact, Clearwater has kept busy from one generation to the next. Malachi Mixon, a current Clearwater employee, has followed in the footsteps of his father, Ron Mixon, who attended the opening nearly 22 years ago.
