NORTHEAST OHIO – Carter Property Restoration has been providing home restoration and improvement services to clients since 1993.
Wayne Carter, owner of Carter Property Restoration, said his business is family owned and operated. It focuses on serving customers and taking care of their needs. He added that the company carries out both personal and commercial work.
Some of the services Carter Property Restoration offers include roofs, gutters, siding, doors, windows, shutters, garage doors, decks, and construction of additions and pole barns. The company is also remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and basements, and laying tile and wooden floors.
“We’re very family-oriented, have good morals, and respect people,” Carter said.
He said he started in the construction business when he was 17 and was a professional roofer when he was 30. Now he has more than 30 years of construction experience, he said.
About half of the work Carter Property Restoration does comes from insurance claims for wind, hail, water, or fire damage. He said his company is able to walk customers through the process of filing an insurance claim.
The other half of the business is renovations and additions to homes and business structures. Carter said his company had also done roofing work for several churches.
Some of the most common services include roofs, siding, windows and gutters, Carter said, adding that the company provides professional, quality service and has an A + rating from the Better Business Bureau.
“I always show up at work,” Carter said. “We’re trying to make sure people’s homes are cleaner than they were before we arrived.”
From start to finish, projects typically take two to four weeks from contract signing to completion.
Carter said he has a deep passion for personalizing his business and that is what he thinks sets his business apart.
“I have a deep love for people,” said Carter. “We are a company that people can trust. We are here and will be here for many years to come. “
Carter Property Restoration operates across the greater Akron area and they will drive a few hours to complete a project. Carter said if a bad storm hits anywhere his company is ready to drive three hours if necessary for a job.
The company’s motto is: “Bring your home back to life.”
Carter said he has between 20 and 30 employees, many of whom are family members and close friends.
