Air conditioners sell more as people try to escape rising temperatures News

PORTLAND OR (KPTV) – It’s no secret that when the sun comes up, people flock to hardware stores for various ways to cool off.

We drove to Pearl Hardware outside Northwest Glisan on Wednesday.

They told FOX 12 that they weren’t sold out yet, but you are seeing more and more people looking for appliances, fans, or anything to help them stay cool whether they want to be indoors or out.

“If you want to go outside we have a couple of pools, pools are a great way to stay cooler and then use a Cobra Mister or some kind of spray that you can hook up to the hose to give you some cool water can have fog in the air when you’re sitting outside so you’re not so stuffy inside, ”said Supervisor Drew Stefani.

The store told FOX 12 that more people are using evaporative coolers instead of fans.

Then fill a cooler with ice water to diffuse cool air instead of circulating warmer air.
