12K-Mile 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7RR Ninja has world-class aftermarket plumbing

At the time, this was one of the most technologically advanced machines assembled on Japanese soil.

The beast we’re about to showcase today is a 1996 Kawasaki ZX-7RR Ninja that has driven 19,000 kilometers (11,800 miles) according to an analog odometer. This wild piece of two-wheeled machinery has a collection of bolt-on accessories to set it apart from the stock, including new rear-mount foot controls, aftermarket levers, and a state-of-the-art Tsukigi Racing exhaust system.

Its stock windshield has been painted to make room for a tinted alternative, while the side panels have recently been given a clean green paint job. As for the general specs of this predator, the ZX-7RR is brought to life by a liquid-cooled 748cc in-line four-colossus that is mated to a six-speed gearbox and hydraulic clutch.

With two overhead camshafts, four Keihin carburetors and sixteen valves, the Japanese Moloch is suitable for up to 122 wild horses at 12,000 rpm. When the tachometer reads 9,300 rpm, you will experience maximum torque no less than 58 pound-feet (78 Nm). The momentum is directed to the rear tire via a chain drivetrain, resulting in a top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).

Suspension duties are handled by an adjustable pair of 43mm (1.7 in) upside-down forks at the front and Kawasaki’s own Uni-Trak setup at the rear. In the north, two 320 mm (12.6 inch) discs and Nissin six-piston brake calipers provide plenty of braking power. On the other hand, the rear wheel is brought to a stop by a single 230 mm (9.1 in) rotor and double piston caliper.
